Christopher McKoy
Christopher McKoy vanished on January 8, 2025, after texting his mother that he’d had a panic attack and wrecked his car in Gwinnett County, Georgia. When deputies located the vehicle on Beaver Ruin Road, Christopher was nowhere to be found. He has not been seen or heard from since that day.
In the hours and days that followed, no confirmed sightings surfaced, and investigators have not released additional details about his movements after the crash. The sudden loss of contact, paired with the circumstances of his last message, has left his family deeply worried.
Early confusion between Douglas County and Gwinnett County added to the difficulty of the search, and despite reported tips, none have led to Christopher.
His family has also endured multiple extortion attempts from individuals claiming to know where he is or demanding money for information. Authorities believe these calls were scams targeting a grieving family, adding another layer of pain to an already devastating situation.
Christopher’s disappearance continues to weigh heavily on those who love him, and investigators are urging the public to come forward with any information that might help. Even the smallest detail — something seen near the crash site, a remembered conversation, or an unusual sighting from that day — could provide direction in his case.
