Eodis Harris III
Eodis “Tre” Harris III was 32 years old when he disappeared on June 16, 2021, after leaving his Fort Worth apartment early that morning with his two dogs.
He was seen on surveillance footage between 3:00 and 3:45 a.m., and he briefly called his mother before all contact stopped. That was the last time anyone heard from him.
Later that morning, Tre’s phone pinged near Quanah, his suitcase was found in Paducah, and his blue 2020 GMC Sierra was discovered abandoned south of Aspermont with the engine running and the keys inside.
Construction workers reported seeing a Black male exit the truck with two dogs, but said the man did not resemble Tre. One of his dogs, Smoky, was found alive near the truck; the other, Bandit, was later found deceased.
The case grew more complicated when Tre’s Facebook password was changed nearly two months later from an IP address in Corpus Christi. Investigators have not identified who accessed the account or whether it is connected to his disappearance.
The suitcase recovered along the route contained some belongings but lacked essentials, leaving questions about where Tre was headed and what happened after he left home.
Tre is 5’10”, approximately 304–305 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes, a mustache, and a goatee. His tattoos include a panther and the words “Mature & Petite” on his back, an owl on his right leg, and “Tre” on his left leg. Reports suggest he may have been wearing a red or pink shirt and tan pants.
His disappearance remains unsolved, and investigators continue to seek information that could help explain the unusual trail of evidence left behind. Even small details — a sighting, a remembered conversation, or something noticed along the route — could help move the case forward.
