Janteyl Johnson
Janteyl Johnson was only 15 years old when she disappeared from her family’s apartment in Newark, Delaware on February 3, 2010. She was five months pregnant at the time and has now been missing for sixteen years.
She left school early that day because she wasn’t feeling well and was last seen on video entering a store to buy candy before heading home. Her belongings — including her glasses, purse, and a new outfit — were left behind, suggesting she planned to return.
Phone records show she received a call from a burner phone that afternoon, and the last call to her phone came from the 26‑year‑old father of her unborn baby. Her phone last pinged near his mother’s house, though he has not been named a suspect.
Her family does not believe she ran away, and investigators now fear she may have been trafficked or met with foul play. There have been no confirmed sightings since 2010, and her case remains an endangered missing cold‑case review.
