Rebecca Dorr, 56, disappeared from her home on Maine Street in Brunswick, Maine, on January 25, 2026. She left on foot that afternoon and never returned. She remains missing.
Rebecca was last heard from around noon that Sunday. She left her residence in the 200 block of Maine Street sometime between 3 p.m. and the early hours of Monday morning.
She was seen on foot around 3:30 p.m., wearing a white and green striped knit hat, a grey scarf, a blue jacket, dark mittens, grey sweatpants, and dark boots. Authorities say she may have also been wearing a green jacket at some point.
Rebecca lives with mental‑health challenges, and this is not the first time she has gone missing. In August 2025, she was unaccounted for nearly three days before being wooded area. Because found safe in a of that history, investigators immediately focused on nearby trails and wooded terrain.
Search teams from the Brunswick Police Department and the Maine Warden Service have combed the Town Common, Crystal Springs Farm trails, and other wooded areas. Despite extensive efforts, no new clues have been found. Police also asked residents to avoid local hiking trails during active search operations.
Rebecca is a white female with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5’5″ and approximately 135 pounds. She wears eyeglasses, and her ears are pierced. Her clothing at the time of her disappearance included a striped knit hat, grey scarf, blue jacket, dark mittens, grey sweatpants, and dark boots.
