Chasity Terry
Chasity Ann Terry, 40, disappeared in Jasper, Alabama on January 9–10, 2025. She was last seen on surveillance video around 2:00 a.m. leaving the Love’s Truck Stop on January 10.
Chasity had been traveling with an acquaintance, Charles Williams Jr., when their vehicle reportedly slid into a ditch near Exit 22 on Interstate 22 during icy conditions.
She was last known to be wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and brown and white shoes. Authorities noted she may have been living with a condition that could impair her judgment.
Extensive searches were carried out by the Hamilton Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, using helicopters, drones, K‑9 units, and ground teams across wooded areas near I‑22 and County Road 45.
A vehicle believed connected to the case was impounded, and Williams was arrested on unrelated controlled‑substance charges, though he has not been charged in her disappearance.
By mid‑2025, investigators announced they were treating Chasity’s case as suspicious and potentially a homicide. Despite the scale of the searches and the recovery of the vehicle, no trace of Chasity has been found.
She may still be in the areas of Hamilton, Jasper, Bear Creek, or along the I‑22 corridor.
Her family and community continue to push for answers and visibility until she is brought home.
