Chelsea Woods
Chelsea Woods, 39, has been missing from Clinton, Arkansas since August 28, 2022.
That morning, she called 911 from her cabin, frightened and asking for help. When deputies arrived, they saw her run from the home and into the surrounding woods with a kitchen knife she was using for protection. She has not been seen since.
In the days leading up to her disappearance, Chelsea told her family she was afraid of her ex‑boyfriend and had recently filed a restraining order.
Her mother remembers their final conversation, when Chelsea said, “If something happens to me, Mama, I want you to know I love you.” Loved ones describe her as distressed and trying to leave the situation, even packing her bags and waiting for money to get a bus ticket or a safe place to stay.
A wellness check three days later found her cabin door open and her cat inside, but Chelsea was gone. Search teams and volunteers combed the wooded area behind her home, and some of her belongings — including her phone and purse — were later found in unusual locations, deepening the family’s concerns.
Despite extensive efforts, no confirmed sightings or updates have surfaced.
Authorities in Van Buren County are offering a $10,000 reward for information that could help locate Chelsea. Her family continues to plead for the public’s help, hoping someone will come forward with a detail that brings answers.
