Christian Hammond
Christian Stephen Hammond, 31, was last seen in January 2021 after being dropped off at an airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was supposed to return to either Tukwila or Seattle, Washington, but he never arrived. His family expected to hear from him once he landed, yet no further contact came.
The last confirmed communication with Christian occurred on May 7, 2021, during a phone call with family members. After that, all contact stopped.
In the weeks that followed, police began looking into a troubling social media message suggesting he had been shot and killed, but no evidence was found to confirm the claim.
Christian spent time in the Aurora area of Washington and was involved with Victory Outreach Church in Seattle, where he participated in the men’s recovery home.
He had been studying to become an electrician and was working toward rebuilding his life. His family says it is completely unlike him to disappear or remain out of touch for this long.
A major development came on January 25, 2022, when police located Christian’s white 2017 Ford Fusion in Tukwila, Washington, near Crestview Park.
The vehicle was in extremely poor condition, described as a “biohazard” due to mold and mildew throughout the interior. The discovery raised even more concern but did not provide answers about where he might be.
Christian’s disappearance remains unsolved, and investigators continue to search for information that could help explain what happened after his final phone call.
Even a small detail — a sighting, a conversation, or something remembered from early 2021 — could help move the case forward.
If you have any information about the disappearance of Christian Hammond, please contact the Tukwila Police Department at 206‑433‑1808.
