Emillie Hoyt
Emillie Hoyt, 23, was last heard from in early December 2005 while living in Highland Beach, Florida. She had called her brother in Portland to say she was mailing him a Christmas gift and asked him to call once it arrived.
Emillie had recently returned to Florida after a brief stay in Kansas and was living with an older boyfriend she had reportedly planned to leave.
When her brother tried to reach her again, the boyfriend answered and said he had kicked her out and taken her phone. Some accounts say Emillie spoke with her mother weeks later, mentioning she didn’t have a stable address. After that, all contact stopped.
Her family attempted to file a missing person report, but police initially declined, and it took nearly eighteen months before the case was formally accepted.
Emillie had no vehicle or credit cards when she disappeared, and her Social Security number has shown no activity since 2005.
She is described as 5’7″, 100–120 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, piercings, scars on both arms, tribal shoulder tattoos, and surgical screws in her jaw.
