Jessica Masker
Jessica Lynne Masker, 24, was last seen around April 15, 2013, after leaving her cousin’s home near E. Washington and DeQuincy streets on the southeast side of Indianapolis. She walked away on foot and never made it to her next destination.
Despite early suggestions that no foul play was involved, her family has long believed her disappearance was the result of violence, not a voluntary choice.
The day before she vanished, Jessica had been hospitalized for a drug overdose and had reportedly been beaten by her boyfriend — a man previously convicted of domestic battery against her.
He was questioned by police but never charged, though her family maintains he was supposed to pick her up the night she disappeared and may have been the last person expecting to see her. No confirmed sightings have been reported in the years since.
Jessica was a young mother of two who was working to stabilize her life and rebuild her future. Her sudden disappearance, combined with the circumstances leading up to it, has left her family searching for answers for more than a decade.
The case remains open, with investigators urging the public to come forward with any information that could help determine what happened after she left her cousin’s home that night.
At the time she went missing, Jessica was 5’2″ and approximately 95 pounds.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Jessica Lynne Masker is encouraged to contact the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Missing Persons Unit at (317) 327-3475.
