Jonett Wanner
Jonett Wanner was 50 years old when she was last seen on July 11, 2023, after signing off her work computer at her home in West Fargo, ND around 2:30 p.m. She left with her gray 2017 Nissan Rogue, her senior dog Scooby, the dog’s bed, and likely her wallet, but not her cellphone.
In the weeks that followed, her family learned of a farmer who reported speaking with a woman matching Jonett’s description near St. Mary’s Lake (southwest of Valley City) in North Dakota. She had asked him for directions to Sweetwater Lake and told him she was “going down memory lane.”
That tip prompted a large‑scale search across St. Mary’s, Moon, and Sweetwater lakes, with boats, sonar, drones, and a Civil Air Patrol plane covering the area. Despite the effort, no trace of Jonett or her vehicle was found.
Her family describes her as soft‑spoken, reserved, and deeply connected to her twin sister, Joenell, who has been searching tirelessly.
With no activity on her bank accounts, no digital clues, and no confirmed direction of travel, her disappearance has left loved ones facing both hope and heartbreak.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Jonett Wanner is urged to contact the West Fargo Police Department at 701‑515‑5500.
