T’Montez Hurt
T’Montez Hurt, 19, went missing in Kansas City, Missouri on February 1, 2024. He had traveled there with a friend and made an early‑morning call to his grandmother sounding frightened and not like himself.
His grandmother, Tecona Donald‑Sullivan, immediately contacted police, who located T’Montez and took him to Saint Luke’s Hospital for evaluation. He was released after a few hours, and according to his family, a Z Trip taxi took him to the Greyhound bus station. When he arrived just before noon, the station was closed.
Surveillance video shows T’Montez realizing he left his phone inside the taxi and trying to get back into the vehicle, but he was unable to reach the driver. After that moment, he began walking south on foot. No one has seen or heard from him since.
His grandmother says he sounded terrified during their call, as if he were in severe mental distress. She believes he needed help and was not thinking clearly when he left the hospital. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unexplained.
