Kelly Evans
Kelly Evans was 54 years old when she was reported missing from her home in Faulkner County, Arkansas, in October 2017., after her family could not reach her at her home on White Oak Road.
Deputies began searching immediately, and over the years the case remained active with a dedicated investigator assigned.
Multiple large‑scale searches were carried out using ground teams, cadaver dogs, drones, ATVs, and Arkansas State Police aircraft.
Her family and the community kept her name visible through social media campaigns and billboards, hoping for a lead that would explain her disappearance.
On December 31, 2025, a hunter in a densely wooded area near White Oak Road discovered what appeared to be human remains. Deputies and the county coroner conducted a detailed search of the area and recovered additional remains, clothing, and personal items.
The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory later confirmed the remains were a 99.98% match to Kelly Evans. The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains active.
