Tatiana Dugger
Tatiana Dugger was 19 years old when she disappeared on January 8, 2021, after she was seen getting into a white pickup truck in downtown Oakland, California. Her family reported her missing the next day from Oroville.
For nearly three months, there were no confirmed sightings or leads about where she may have gone or who she may have been with.
On April 2, 2021, a hiker discovered her remains on U.S. Forest Service land between Juniper Terrace and Highway 97 in Siskiyou County.
The location was remote, and investigators from multiple jurisdictions responded. The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office assisted as agencies worked to determine what happened and who was responsible.
In the years since, Tatiana’s case has remained active and complex, involving the FBI and law enforcement agencies in the Bay Area, Butte County, and Siskiyou County. In late February 2026, the FBI announced that Tatiana’s case is likely linked to the disappearances of two other women — Heaven McGee and Morgan Crenshaw. Investigators now believe all three may have been victims of human trafficking.
The FBI’s recent press conference in Oakland renewed public attention and confirmed that the three cases share investigative connections.
Authorities continue to review evidence, pursue leads, and seek information about the person or persons responsible for Tatiana’s death. A $10,000 reward previously offered by the Oakland Police Department remains part of the case history.
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has extended condolences to the Dugger, McGee, and Crenshaw families and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the investigation.
Anyone with information that may help is urged to contact the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 841‑2900 or the FBI.
